One sample suit to start
Your first spend is a single sample suit. Since the minimum is one piece, nobody asks you for a minimum run or a bulk order first. Per two-piece suit, ex works Shanghai, that sample costs:
- CMT (cut, make, trim) from 100 USD. You send your own cloth and we cut and sew it.
- Full package from 155 USD. We supply the cloth and make the suit.
- Half canvas, full package from 185 USD. We supply the cloth and build the chest with a half canvas.
Then add shipping from Shanghai to wherever you are, plus import duty at your own country's rate. That total is your first outlay.
After the sample you never fund inventory. Each suit is paid for when a client orders one, so you sell first and we make it after.
Which price applies to you
CMT from 100 USD is for founders who already have cloth, or who want a fabric no one else offers. You source it and ship it to our workshop in Shanghai, and we cut, make and trim the suit. Per garment it is the lowest of the three. It makes the most sense when you already buy cloth from someone and want to keep that relationship going.
Full package from 155 USD is the simple start for a new label. You pick the fabric from the cloth we hold, we supply it and we make the suit. If you are starting from zero, start here.
Half canvas, full package from 185 USD suits labels whose clients care how the chest drapes and how the lapel rolls. Half canvas sits between fused and full canvas. If your buyers already know what a floating chest piece is, price your range from this tier.
We also make fused and full canvas suits. Full canvas is quoted per order, so ask us for a number on the cloth you have in mind.

What ex works Shanghai means
Every price above is the suit at our workshop door in Shanghai, China, before shipping and before import duty.
Shipping time and cost come on top. Both depend on where the suit is going. We can ship the finished suit straight to your client's hotel, home or office, anywhere in the world, under your brand name. Or we ship it to you and you hand it over yourself.
Import duties are paid by the buyer, at the buyer's own country's rate. We do not know every country's rate, and we will not guess yours. The figure that matters for your retail price is the landed cost, the answer to "what does this suit cost me once it reaches my door?", so look the duty up before you set a price.
Production takes 14 days from a confirmed order. Shipping time is added to those 14 days. Delivery has the full picture.
The full checklist of start-up costs
These are the costs you will meet before your first client wears your suit, roughly in the order they arrive:
- The sample suit, at our price above.
- Shipping the sample to you.
- Import duty on the sample, at your country's rate.
- Your label: ask us what we need from you to sew it in. It also states the country of origin.
- Photos of the sample for your shop or social pages.
- Somewhere to take orders, such as your own online shop, a booking page or direct messages.
- A tape measure and time to learn to measure. Or start from height and weight on our online platform, which runs in five languages and gives AI-suggested sizes.
- Optional: a second sample in another cloth or construction, so your clients see a range.
Only the first line has a number we can give you today. That number starts from 155 USD for full package, or from 100 USD as CMT if you send the cloth.
Costs you can skip
You need no factory, no pattern maker and no stock in sizes nobody ordered, and after the first piece there is still no minimum run. Because we can ship to your client under your brand name, you can also do without a warehouse or a fulfilment partner.
Orders go in on our online platform, so nobody has to fly to Shanghai to place them, and a client's height and weight are enough to start one.
Do not order a sample in every cloth. Order one, wear it, show it to the kind of people who will buy from you, and then decide whether to add more. With a one-piece minimum you can test the whole idea on a single suit.

Do your prices include shipping and import duty?
No. Prices are ex works Shanghai. Shipping time and cost are added on top, and import duties are paid by the buyer at the buyer's own country's rate.
